Hi, I'm Taylor

Outer Banks-based artist, Taylor Williams, works mainly with oil paints after teaching herself the skill in 2017. Taylor paints the familiar landscapes of the Outer Banks where she grew up. Focusing her work on calm, ordinary moments of her home, she paints the changing colors of the sky and the different moods of the ocean. Although most of her work embodies peace or minimalism, she is also known to create pieces that are stormy and turbulent.

In 2019 she had her first solo show at the Dare County Arts Council in Manteo, North Carolina. She continued reaching her goals in 2020 when she joined twenty other artists in displaying at Robert Lange Studios' "2020 TWENTY" show in Charleston, South Carolina. In January of 2022, her piece "Prevail" won Best in Show at the Dare County Arts Council's annual Frank Stick Show in Manteo, North Carolina.

I currently work out of my home studio in Southern Shores, NC. My favorite print is the "Prevail" Limited Edition Print.
